Influencer marketing is becoming huge role in marketing, and learning how to capitalize off it can help your business establish a strong brand presence as well as help meet many other KPI’s. After reading these case studies, I really reflected on how massive and influential this can be on a brand large or small. Brands that can capture influencers close to their brand values and with similar audiences, you are able to create a win-win-win system. Influencers can continue their careers and are compensated, the companies are received a higher performance and ROI with their influencers than other marketing tactics, and consumers are able to benefit from exposure to the product and the discount or offer that usually comes with the influencer.
I see this as core element in the future of marketing. As we move more into the personalized world, personalization has become more required and using micro and even nano influencers builds trust among these audiences, creating that personalization. I think the most interesting aspect of influencer marketing is its ability to show up in all aspects, whether that’s social media, event marketing, signage, etc.… You can tailor to your audiences’ preferred spaces while maintaining the effectiveness of the influencer marketing strategy.
I think this is an exciting time to enter the marketing world as a professional and I am excited to see where this newer era of marketing leads us and how we can use it to create a better world for all parties.
